No Spend November 2020
💰 NO SPEND MONTH 💰
- Spending allowed: rent, bills, transportation (metro, buses, maybe save a bit on gas because climate) & also (no, last minute flight to Spain does not count, sorry) and any other non negotiable expenses like medication or pet food or insert yours, I trust you.
- Groceries: set a moderate budget which will differ depending on a) diet; b) household members; c) country living costs and stick to it. I mean, if we decide to opt out of eating out for a month but still get sushi from the groceries' store every other day then, let's face it, we are not opting out of eating out. For me, as a student living in the UK, I will budget 90 £ for groceries for one person. Meal prep, guys!
- Spending not allowed: clothes, shoes, bags, anything fashion related really. no eating out, no getting coffee everyday before work (or during work), no impulse 100$ worth of candles and bath bombs purchases. You get the drill, right?
- Fun $$$: as, let's face it, we are human beings and we need a small transition period, I suggest that we have a fun $$$ amount that we can spend on anything we want during the month. This should be really low - mine is going to be 20£ and I am probably going to spend it throughout the month in emergency coffee and/or brownies on my way to uni.
